October 3, 2022 to October 6, 2022

We are delighted to invite you to join our small group of very special people to experience the magnificent Adirondack Mountains during the height of "leaf-peeper season".  Coyaba Travel's Exclusive Tour Package includes a wonderful array of low-impact activities that will give you an overview of the natural beauty and history for which this region is known.

Our journey will originate in Saratoga Springs, NY on Monday, 10/03/22 and return to this charming historic town - known for horse racing and healing springs - on Thursday, 10/06/22.  We have negotiated discounted group rates at the Embassy Suites in the heart of the downtown both prior to the start of our northern adventure as well as immediately following the conclusion of our trip.  We will be happy to share our recommendations for dining, shopping, and sightseeing while you are visiting Saratoga Springs.

Our first stop will be pristine Lake George where we will embark on a one-hour, narrated historic sightseeing cruise where you will discover the local history of the Revolutionary and French and Indian Wars while enjoying the magnificent color palette of the fall foliage surrounding the lake.

Following our return to dry land, we will head to one of our favorite restaurants, XXX.  After lunch, we will head to Lake Placid for check-in at the Crowne Plaza Hotel which boasts an amazing view of Mirror Lake, Whiteface Mountain, and the town of Lake Placid.  Cocktails at the Adirondack Great Room Bar followed by a special dinner for our group.

Day Two has us headed to the Olympic Center in Lake Placid, following breakfast, at our host hotel where we have arranged for a private guided tour to view the Olympic Museum exhibit gallery of Lake Placid's two historic Winter Olympics.

Space is VERY limited.  Please get in touch with us right away if you would like to experience some of the Adirondack's notable highlights during the peek of the fall foliage season.

Day #1
Saratoga Springs/Lake George/Lake Placid

Our journey will originate in Saratoga Springs, NY on Monday, 10/03/22 and return to this charming historic town - known for horseracing and healing springs - on Thursday, 10/06/22.  We have negotiated discounted group rates at the Embassy Suites in the heart of the downtown both prior to the start of our northern adventure as well as following it.  We will be happy to share our recommendations for dining, shopping, and sightseeing while you are visiting Saratoga Springs.

Our first stop will be picturesque Lake George where we will embark on a one-hour, narrated, historic sightseeing cruise where you will discover the local history of the Revolutionary and French and Indian Wars while enjoying the magnificent color palette of the fall foliage surrounding the lake.

Following our return to dry land, we will head to one of our favorite restaurants, 10 McGillis Public House.  After lunch, we will continue to Lake Placid for check-in at the Crowne Plaza Hotel which boasts an amazing view of Mirror Lake, Whiteface Mountain, and the quaint town of Lake Placid.  Cocktails at the Adirondack Great Room Bar will be followed by a special dinner for our group.

Day #2
Lake Placid + Saranac Lake

After breakfast at our host hotel, we will be headed to the Olympic Legacy Sites where we have arranged for a private guided tour to view the Olympic Museum Exhibit Gallery of Lake Placid's two historic Winter Olympics.

Our adventure continues to High Falls Gorge where we will relax over lunch (included) in their cafe, followed by a breathtaking fall foliage walk alongside the West Branch of the Ausable River and the High Falls Gorge with its four majestic waterfalls cascading over rocks and through deep crevices carved billions of years ago.

Afterwards, we return to Lake Placid where you can meander around the picturesque village and enjoy the lovely view and charming shops along Main Street.

Dinner this evening will be at the Adirondack-inspired Black Bear restaurant across the street from our host hotel.  A special menu has been designed just for our group.

Day #3
The Wild Center/Tupper Lake

No trip to Upstate New York would be complete without a visit to The Wild Center whose mission is "to ignite an enduring passion for the Adirondacks where people and nature can thrive together and offer an example for the world."

Nestled within the Adirondack Mountains about 21 miles southwest of Saranac Lake, The Wild Center features acres of forest and a plethora of wildlife, Known as the Natural History of the Adirondacks, the center is science-based, and its experiences, exhibits and programs are designed to open new ways to look into our relationship with nature.  The 115-acres include a stunning Wild Walk (a trail across tree tops via a wide, secure wooden walkway designed to mimic a spider's web and bald eagle's nest) and the Natural History Museum of the Adirondacks which focuses on the natural history of the region, including the geology and ecology of the Adirondack Park.

This is a place to be experienced.
